My Fiction Friend — Refund Policy

We want you writing — not stuck, and not out of pocket if the program isn't right for you. Here's how refunds work, in plain terms.

Our seven-day writing guarantee: The whole point of My Fiction Friend is to get you actually writing. So here's our promise: use the program for seven days in a row — genuinely show up and do the work — and if you have, and you still haven't drafted the opening of your novel, we'll refund your $47 in full. Just email us at hello@myfictionfriend.com within 30 days of your purchase and we'll take care of it. (We only ask that you've actually used the program during those seven days.)

One-time payments: The program ($47) and each additional novel ($27) are one-time payments — there's no subscription, so there's nothing to cancel and no recurring charge to worry about.

Additional novels: Because additional-novel unlocks ($27) give you immediate access to start a new book, please choose them when you're ready to write. If something's gone wrong — for example you were charged in error — email us and we'll sort it out fairly.

How to request a refund: Email hello@myfictionfriend.com from the address on your account, and let us know you'd like a refund. We aim to reply quickly and process approved refunds back to your original payment method, usually within a few business days (your bank may take a little longer to show it).

What happens when you're refunded: A refund closes the loop — when we return your payment, your access to the program ends, and any novels created under it may no longer be available. In other words, a refund means handing the program back, just as you'd return a product you'd bought. If you'd like to keep a copy of anything you've written, download your work before requesting your refund.

Your consumer rights: Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If the program isn't as described or doesn't do what we've promised, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the guarantee above.
